This incredible piece was inspired by the soaking wet forest behind my home during a torrential rain storm. The necklace is infused with tranquility and beauty. 
 
This necklace was made with one-of-a-kind raw blue kyanite shards which are accented by cognac Baltic amber and ancient larvikite. Each larvikite stone is ~298 million years old, and contains luminescent blue and green feldspar shards creating a glow similar to the aurora borealis.

Larvikite is an igneous stone that was formed between 290 and 300 million years ago during the formation of the Olso Rift in Norway. During its slow cooling process, magna got trapped and created large feldspar crystals to grow within the stone. The result of the above formation process is visually stunning. You will see different variations of blue and green hues.
